How about we make a trade for Jordan Zimmermann? Hes on the DL after Tommy John Surgery, but hes already back throwing the same speed he was before and he’s only on 10 MONTHS! Hes a wisconsin native, and i think it would be a great thing to have him on the Milwaukee Brewers. He was rated the Nationals top prospect in the organization by baseball america. lets make a move at him. hes a stud.

No. The Brewers will not trade for a pitcher coming off of Tommy John type surgery.
It is pretty well established that it takes up to two or three years for a pitcher to regain his stuff. Especially the ability to control their pitches and throw strikes, not to mention stamina and the delicate touch needed to throw your secondary pitches. The nerves involved take a much longer time to heal than the muscles that are needed to throw with power.
The Brewers need to develop their own pitchers. Trading good position players for pitching is always a risky business even when the pitchers involved are healthy.
