How do we fix this mlb all star game mess?
you gotta be kidding me. 15 innings going on 1:45 am. i have a feeling brad lidge purposely tried to set this up for the loss just to save everyone. and i know the home plate ump wouldnt dare call mornaeu out (he was safe for sure from replay). but this is no ones fault on the field. its all selig. we need a better solution. what should mlb do with all star game? here are my suggestions. we can allow players to reenter the game. we can also instead of having extra innings, have some kind of post 9th inning contest. maybe a 5 out home run derby of some sort or something else, or the most reasonable solution…GET RID OF HOMEFIELD! just play for nothing again and if it goes extras, let it go 10 or 11 and then just have a homer off or coin flip or go home without a winner. overall this is not a good idea and alot of players had to go 5 atbats.
Letting players come back in wouldn’t solve the problem, because a pitcher can’t pitch, be taken out, and come back to pitch.
More players on each team and stop trying to get everyone in the game, that’s the solution.
