2011 Mlb Teams Payroll
Anybody know a reliable site where they have the 2011 payrolls for MLB teams?
I want to see just how much more salary exactly Boston & the Yankees have compared to the Blue Jays.
This goes with my argument against people who slight the Jays for being out of the playoff race so soon because the way MLB is structured financially they essentially dont have much of a chance even before any games are played.
People often bring up Tampa and how they are doing well now….but they consistently finished last place for 5-6 consecutive years and compiled top draft picks which they are reaping the benefits of now.
At least the Jays are consistently at/near/just under/ or just over the .500 mark and do not finish as poorly the Rays used to.
Anyway, having the exact payroll of all the teams would be great and give me some emperical data to go with and get a sense what the salaries for others teams are also.
