2011 Mlb Debuts
Mid Season Pitcher Predictions. What do you think? (Jimenez, Halladay, Strasburg, Lincecum)?
Ubaldo Jimenez: Will get hit hard sooner or later based on previous season stats, will not win Cy this season.
Roy Halladay: Consistent, and should win Cy or be second in voting.
Steven Strasburg: Will have a good season, but his late arrival will prevent him from winning rookie of the year.
Tim Lincecum: Should bounce back, but my predictions are that his strike outs will be significantly lower and his ERA would be significantly higher.
Aroldis Chapman: Based on current performances dont expect his MLB debut until 2011.
Ubaldo- I agree with you about everything you said except I think the hype of what’s happened so far this year will make him the Cy Young winner
Roy- He’s been consistent, like you said. He’ll be in the running for the Cy for sure
Strasburg- I think he wins ROY. I know he started late, but he’s completely washed the Jason Heyward hype away. And it’s not just hype, but Strasburg can pitch. I really think he’ll have a great year this year.
Tim Lincecum- I agree his strikouts will be lower, but I think he’ll finish with his ERA around 3.00 or possibly lower…but he wont’ win the Cy this year.
Aroldis- 5-4 4.22 ERA in AAA. He’s getting roughed up. I agree he won’t be up until next year.
