The greatest upset in baseball?
I was just thinking of a scenario that would come to be the greatest turn around or upset in baseball:
World Series, 2010, Yankee’s Vs. Washignton nationals, Game 7, bottom of the ninth, 2 outs, in Washington. Mariano allowed 1 double, one single, and on walk. Bases loaded, score is yankee’s 3-washington 0. A rookie makes his MLB debut by pinch hitting for Alex Rodriguez, and gets full count. Then, the rookie hits a walk-off grandslam, giving the nationals there first world series title, against the team with 26 world series titles.
What do you think, anything more upsetting than this?
I never said the alex rodriguez on the yankees.
What’s upsetting is the fact that the season was bad enough for the other NL East teams that the nationals made it to the playoffs.
The Nats winning over 70 games in a year would be a major upset
